Trekking in the mountains

Trekking in the mountains can be easy or difficult. Family Holiday Italy the trekking path starting from Termeno (German: Tramin) reaching the Roen Mountain (Italian: Monte Roen), which is 2116 meters high, is advisable to the guests which are well trained and are already expert hikers. Trentino South Tyrol the height difference is 1840 meters and the itinerary is 8-9 hours long, but the wonderful panorama from the Roen Mountain will be the right reward for such a hard trekking path! Another option for your trekking in the mountains around Termeno is the one leading to the Gummerhof, till the "Überetscher" mountain refuge. You can continue till the Roen Mountain peak as well. On your way back, it´s possible to reach the "Maso Romeno" and to be in front of a crossroad: you can choose the trekking path beside the Überetscher refuge or go through Giovo di Coredo, heading towards Termeno.
